Design

Siemens builds a ceramic sensor with a Wheatstone resistance bridge into the pressure transmitter.

The manufacturer equips these pressure transmitters with an electronic circuit, fitting it together with the sensor in a stainless steel enclosure. Additionally, the manufacturer includes a vent pipe with a humidity filter in the connecting cable to prevent the build - up of condensation.

A protective cap protects the diaphragm against external influences. The manufacturer houses the sensor, the electronics, and the connecting cable in a small - dimensioned enclosure.
