SITRANS LH100 Pressure Transmitter

The SITRANS LH100 series pressure transmitter converts the level-proportional hydrostatic pressure into a standardized signal 4 to 20 mA. The transmitter consists of a stainless steel housing (Ø 23,4 mm) with mechanical protection IP 68, a piezo-resistive sensor with ceramic diaphragm. The transmitter cable has a diameter of Ø 6 mm and also contains a vent pipe for connection to the atmosphere.

The pressure transmitter SITRANS LH100 is a submersible sensor for hydrostatic level measurement.

A cable box and an anchoring clamp are available as accessories for simple installation.

Design

The pressure transmitter contains a built - in ceramic sensor that has a Wheatstone resistance bridge. Manufacturers assemble an electronic circuit together with the sensor in a stainless steel enclosure for these pressure transmitters.

Additionally, the connecting cable includes a vent pipe that has a humidity filter to prevent the build - up of condensation. A protective cap shields the diaphragm from external influences. The enclosure houses the sensor, the electronics, and the connecting cable, and has small dimensions. The manufacturer has temperature - compensated the pressure transmitter for a wide temperature range.
